As our communities in Northern NSW brace for the impact of Cyclone Alfred, we’re ready to provide shelter and support.
Evacuation centres have been established in Tyalgum, Mullumbimby, Kingscliff, Murwillumbah, Ocean Shores, Kyogle, East Lismore, Evans Head, Burringbar, Uki, Coraki, Terranora, Casino, Ballina East and Alstonville to help you through these challenging times.
At our centres, we will link you with services to help you get back on your feet, including:
✅ Emergency accommodation
✅ Psychological first aid and chaplaincy
✅ Meals
✅ Essential supplies.
Emergency responders will keep you informed with regular updates, current advice and warnings, and information on when you can safely return home.
Please bring any prescription medication, your prescription and baby care products with you.
As always, evacuation centres are a place of last resort – stay with family and friends if you can.
Please do not bring donated items to evacuation centres. If you wish to donate, many charities have standing donation mechanisms that you can use to show you care.
