👏 We’re celebrating the newest additions to the Celebrating UNSW Women Trail on campus, including UNSW ADA alum Chanel Contos! Chanel founded ‘Teach Us Consent’, a campaign that mandated consent education in all Australian schools, and later criminalised 'stealthing' in two Australian states. To achieve this, she worked closely with politicians from across the political spectrum, including prime ministers. Chanel was also the recipient of the Australian Human Rights Commission Young People’s Medal in 2021 and named NSW Young Woman of the Year in 2023. 🔗 Visit UNSW’s Women Trail here: https://lnkd.in/g4-az66K
“UNSW Sydney is one of Australia's leading research and teaching universities with a rich history of iconic women blazing a trail for future generations, so it is only right that as part of International Women’s Day, we continue to Celebrate UNSW Women on Campus” –Alison Avery, Executive Director Partnerships & Engagement From activists to astronauts, check out the new additions made to the Women’s Trail as part of Celebrating UNSW Women on campus: https://lnkd.in/g4-az66K
