Baku Drilling School, an internationally accredited training center, is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a three-year contract with bp Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey (AGT).    As part of this contract, Baku Drilling School will provide training programs in Drilling Well Control and Immersive Simulator training, including Human Factor and Crew Resource Management. The primary objective of these programs is to equip both bp and its subcontractors' employees with the necessary knowledge and skills required to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.   This collaboration between Baku Drilling School and bp marks a significant milestone in the energy industry, highlighting a shared commitment to develop talent and excellence within the Caspian region.   “We are honored to have been selected by bp as the first local training school with International Accreditation's to provide our specialized training programs,” said Nariman Mustafayev, Director of Baku Drilling School. What a wonderful day we had yesterday!!!!! Baku Drilling School conducted Well Control and Mud Management workshop, where professionals from bp, Halliburton, Caspian Drilling Company Ltd., SLB gathered together to enhance Crew Resource Management skills. Real Incidents case studies have been discussed with all together based on the incidents investigation findings. Baku Drilling School is SOCAR AQS Company hosted International Well Control Forum Well Control Workshop and AGM meeting last week in Fairmont Hotel. An excellent platform for O&G companies to share there vision in achieving future ZERO Well Control incidents environment. Orkhan Mammadov from Baku Drilling School presented a resent well control incident review happened in Gunashli field with problem solving and lessons learnt.

Dear connections, I am happy to share that, On 15 October, I attended the "Well Control Basics" session organized by SEG ASOIU Student Chapter. At the end of the session, a quiz was held and the students with high results have participated in a field trip to Baku Drilling School. During the field trip, real situations on the platform while drilling process were simulated. I would like to thanks our instructor Orkhan Mammadov and SEG ASOIU Student Chapter for an informative session and an interesting field trip.
