About us

ASD-STAN is the industrial association which establishes, develops and maintains European standards on behalf of European aerospace & defence industry. ASD-STAN publishes and sells online its own standards and is a distributor for the SAE ITC standards and ASD-STAN originating DIN EN standards. Finally all ASD-STAN standards are published as European Norms by CEN. We are well recognized as the European body for the development and publication of global aerospace quality standards by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). With more than 2550 EN standards produced, ASD-STAN is a very dynamic organization - publishing around 200 standards a year, including the final EN publication. ASD-STAN FOSTERS ITS TRANSATLANTIC COOPERATION AND IS LOOKING FORWARD TO EXTENDING ITS COLLABORATION WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS.     🚀We are thrilled to announce that ASD-STAN and SAE International have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (#MoU) to collaborate on the development of common, technically equivalent standards for high-pressure #hydraulic systems. 🤝The partnership will see an official liaison maintained between the ASD-STAN D03/WG03 "Fluid Systems and Components" Working Group and the SAE G-3 "Aerospace Couplings, Fittings, Hose, Tubing Assemblies" Committee. Together, we aim to enhance the consistency and quality of standards in the aerospace industry, ensuring our work reflects the highest level of technical expertise and innovation. 🌍This collaboration will lead to standards that are technically identical, combining the strengths of both organizations for the benefit of the entire aerospace community. ASD-STAN D03/WG03 plays a crucial role in standardizing components such as tubes, pipes, fittings, couplings, caps, plugs, and clamps. This collaboration strengthens the working group’s commitment to fostering excellence and innovation in aerospace fluid system components. The SAE G-3 Committee supports a variety of commercial and defense applications by focusing on developing and maintaining standards for aerospace fluid systems including aerospace couplings, fittings, hose and tubing assemblies to enhance reliability and enable innovation. #ASDSTAN #SAE #aerospace #standards #hydraulics
