We are excited to share the latest updates from OPEN ENLoCC - European Network of Logistics Competence Centers as we tackle some of the most pressing challenges in the transport and logistics sector. Collaborating with Confindustria - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹❜𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮, a key Italian player with extensive connections across small, medium, and large enterprises, we aim to bridge innovation, digitalization, and sustainability within the Italian transport ecosystem. On December 13th, Luca Simone, Project Manager of OPEN ENLoCC, took part in the Confindustria Varese assembly to present our network's activities to member companies and, in particular, the challenges we are facing within the framework of two European projects: the TRANSCEND Project (𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲) and the GRETA-urban-logistics (𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲). 📈 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻: Exploring the implications of new EU directives, such as the 𝗲𝗙𝗧𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, to ensure a smoother, more efficient, and transparent supply chain. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: In the TRANSCEND Project, we addressed the 𝐂𝐄𝐑 and 𝐍𝐈𝐒-𝟐 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, presenting innovative strategies to enhance the resilience of Critical Infrastructures against both climate change threats and cybersecurity risks. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: Through the 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, we introduced groundbreaking solutions to reduce emissions in urban logistics, emphasizing the importance of 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁—a novel approach to combat city traffic congestion. 💡 The event fostered a rich exchange of ideas with freight and logistics experts, paving the way for stronger synergies between public and private stakeholders to build a smarter and greener future. 📣 Let’s join forces for sustainable #transport innovation!
