JOB ALERT! Chief Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our Luxury Hotel brand in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the hotel’s facilities and equipment. This is a key leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage a team, ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel services. Education: Diploma(Electrical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical), Master of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical) Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Supervise the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, elevators, and other critical infrastructure.    Preventative Maintenance: Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the long-term efficiency and safety of hotel systems and facilities.    Team Management:  Lead, manage, and train an engineering team to perform daily maintenance tasks and handle complex repair work.    Coordination: Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to promptly address maintenance issues and enhance guest satisfaction.    Emergency Handling: Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies and ensure swift, professional resolution of any critical issues.    Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and equipment, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency and resource allocation.    Compliance:  Ensure that all facilities and operations comply with local safety, environmental, and legal regulations.    Vendor Relations:  Maintain and manage relationships with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service and support. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred). 12+ years of relevant experience in luxury hotel maintenance or engineering. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and elevators. Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily operations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and coordination skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
