What can we collectively do to #AccelerateAction towards gender equality? Small actions = big impact. For #InternationalWomensDay, Benevity-ites are rallying together for Pad-emonium to help tackle period poverty and reduce period stigma. 🩸 Did you know? • Girls worldwide miss 10-20% of school days per year due to lack of menstrual supplies, inadequate sanitation, toilets, period pain or social stigma. • 25% of Canadian women who menstruate have had to decide between buying period products and buying other essentials such as food. This week: We’re collecting feminine hygiene products across our local hubs – Calgary, Toronto and Barcelona – in support of local nonprofits: The Women's Centre of Calgary, The Period Purse and Esperança - Feeding the homeless in Barcelona. Shoutout to Cat at our Calgary HQ (left) who helped champion Pad-emonium, and Victor (on the right), one of our first allies to jump in to help and bring heaps of donations to support the cause! Let’s keep the momentum going for #IWD2025 and beyond – support local women’s nonprofits in your community. 💙 #BenevityLife #SocialImpact #IWD #EndPeriodPoverty

We live in a time that feels strongly divided. But the latest data from Benevity Impact Labs reveals that #WorkplaceGiving is not as polarized as we think. Despite divisive times, there is an opportunity for companies to strengthen existing employee purpose programs and provide their teams with the outlet they need to act as agents of change – and bond people to their companies in a time of low trust. Read our new Polarized Giving Study to get more insights and best practices for managing risks with open giving programs: https://lnkd.in/gFU3yDdK #CorporateSocialResponsibility #CSR #EmployeeEngagement #SocialImpact

Flashback to a few weeks ago when Benevity-ites across our local hubs – from Calgary to Toronto to Barcelona – came together for Community Day: Nonprofit Edition to celebrate the local nonprofits who we all rely on to build, safe, sustainable and just communities. Benevity-ites learned from our #nonprofit partners about how we can all make a meaningful impact – collectively and individually – through #volunteering or donations. We continue to be inspired by the important work that nonprofits do day-in and day-out to create a world of good for those in need. Thank you to our nonprofit partners who joined us for Community Day: Calgary: Stoney Nakoda Elders | EthniCity and The Centre for Newcomers | Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids | Calgary Drop In & Rehab Centre Society | Calgary Food Bank | The Howl Experience | Good Neighbour | Kids Up Front Calgary | Little Red Reading House | Made by Momma | Soup Sisters | Youth Central | The Women's Centre of Calgary Toronto: Aga Khan Foundation Canada | Canadian Blood Services | Dixon Hall | The Real Jerk Restaurant | Do Good Donuts | Fred Victor | The Hospital for Sick Children | St. James Town Community Corner | The Stop Community Food Centre | Youth Without Shelter | Toronto Public Library Foundation Barcelona: Asociación Mil y un Sueños | Fundación Teresa Gallifa | Adopta Un Abuelo | Esperança - Feeding the homeless in Barcelona | The Free Conversations Movement | Street Soccer Barcelona | Open Cultural Center (OCC) | Refugees Welcome España | #HomelessEntrepreneur | Amber’s Kitchen Curious… which nonprofits are top of mind for you and your teams in 2025? #BenevityLife #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceGiving #SocialImpact
