We are thrilled to announce that Atelier Mey has been awarded first place for our entry MASSita in the recent Miami Center for Architecture & Design ADU competition! This recognition highlights our commitment to creating attainable infill housing and advancing healthy, resilient material practices in Miami-Dade County at all scales. MASSita champions a regional material agenda and draws inspiration from Florida's natural landscape. As a prefabricated system of #CLT panels the design remains flexible, able to adapt to the varied existing building stock across Miami's standard 50'x100' lots, showcasing the potential for innovation within our evolving built environment. We congratulate all of the ADU competition participants who helped raise awareness of the pressing need for diverse housing options in our community. Atelier Mey Architects appreciates MCAD for putting together this competition and facilitating the engaging exhibition and discussion about legalizing ADUs throughout Miami-Dade County.
