“It is a dream come true as a parent. It is all we could hope for.” This #blackhistorymonth we’re celebrating families like the Ramazani and Jeannette's. Last year, this family of seven become homeowners thanks to a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Windsor. Ramazani and Jeannette are proud they no longer have to pay rent and can build equity for their family. And they are delighted their five daughters have the space to play, learn and grow.

Pedro Barata joined Bruce Power's John Peevers for a conversation on the role of innovative corporate and non-profit partnerships in tackling the housing crisis. Bruce Power is a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce, contributing funds, volunteers and equipment to getting homes built in its backyard. And Scotiabank's generous national support of our youth skills training program has helped provide close to 7,000 young people with a start in the skilled trades.
