Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Since 2021, Canada has recognized September 30 as an official day to remember and honour the children who attended residential schools and never returned home, the Survivors, families and communities. Today is also Orange Shirt Day. Inspired by the story of Indian Residential school Survivor Phyllis Webstad, Orange Shirt Day is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement to provide education about the legacy of residential schools. All Canadians are encouraged to wear an orange shirt as a collective commitment to reconciliation and healing.

At Hudson's Bay India, we are continuing our CSR efforts as part of the Giving Week initiative by supporting causes close to our hearts. 🌟❤️ After our fulfilling experience with The Akshayapatra Foundation, we recently extended our CSR efforts by visiting Compassion Unlimited Plus Action - India Cupa's Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre (LARRC)🐄🐕. With over 86,000 animals getting treated, CUPA’s dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, injured animals is truly inspiring, and we were humbled to witness their work firsthand. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this visit meaningful where all the volunteers came together to give bath and food to these lovely animals which was a heartwarming experience & spent some quality time with them. Let’s keep up the momentum and continue spreading kindness throughout the Giving Week initiatives and beyond! 🙌✨ #HudsonsBayIndia #CSRInitiative #GivingWeek #CUPA #AnimalRescue #AkshayaPatra #GivingBack #SocialImpact #MakingADifference #SpreadKindness #TogetherWeCan
