This accreditation is awarded to organizations that meet the highest standards for how they manage donations, communicate with supporters, and operate with transparency. Born with a rare genetic condition, Emily faced kidney failure at just 3 years old. Shortly after her 4th birthday, she received a life-changing kidney transplant from her own mom. 💙 Emily’s genetic condition also causes progressive hearing and vision loss, making her wish to see her favourite princesses and experience the magic of Walt Disney World all the more meaningful. Stories like Emily’s remind us why we do what we do. Last year, we granted 66 wishes to children who received kidney transplants or are living with severe kidney diseases.
