𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗰𝘇 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗗𝗚 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 Le conseil d’administration a le plaisir d’annoncer que Jane Rabinowicz assumera le rôle de présidente-directrice générale de la Fondation McConnell à compter du 30 août 2024.   Jane travaille à la Fondation comme cheffe des programmes depuis 2021. À ce titre, elle a appuyé des partenaires qui agissent sur le plan climatique, qui font avancer la réconciliation et le leadership autochtone, et qui s’efforcent de réduire les obstacles systémiques qui touchent les groupes dignes d’équité.   Avant de se joindre à l’équipe de la Fondation, Jane a travaillé pour des organisations à but non lucratif pendant 20 ans, notamment dans le domaine des semences et de la souveraineté alimentaire. Elle a occupé des postes de direction dans des organisations comme le Santropol Roulant, Équiterre et Sème l’avenir. Elle possède une vaste expérience en matière de gouvernance acquise en siégeant au conseil d’administration du Clean Economy Fund, de la Fondation du Grand Montréal, de MakeWay, de Centraide du Grand Montréal et de plusieurs autres organisations. Jane est passionnée par la collaboration avec les partenaires qui visent l’atteinte d’objectifs sociaux et environnementaux ambitieux, fondés sur des relations authentiques et un apprentissage partagé.   En tant que membre de l’équipe de haute direction, Jane a joué un rôle crucial dans l’évolution de la Fondation et le conseil a hâte de vivre ce nouveau chapitre sous sa direction.   Le conseil tient à remercier la présidente sortante Lili-Anna Pereša pour son leadership. Il lui est reconnaissant de ce qu’elle a accompli durant son mandat, notamment l’élaboration de la stratégie des sphères d’intérêt et de la stratégie d’investissement d’impact, cette dernière incluant la cible d’un portefeuille constitué à 100 % d’investissements d’impact, ainsi que la mise sur pied d’un transfert de capital de 30 millions de dollars à des organisations philanthropiques autochtones.   Le conseil d’administration remercie Lili-Anna pour sa contribution à la réalisation de la mission et de la vision de la Fondation, et il est impatient de découvrir le prochain chapitre sous la direction de Jane.

𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗰𝘇 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that as of August 30, 2024, Jane Rabinowicz will be stepping into the role of President & CEO of the McConnell Foundation. Jane has served as Chief Program Officer at the Foundation since 2021, supporting partners taking action on climate change, reconciliation and Indigenous leadership, and working to decrease systemic barriers faced by equity-deserving groups. Prior to joining McConnell, Jane worked in nonprofit organizations for 20 years, primarily in the fields of seed and food sovereignty. She held leadership roles with organizations including Santropol Roulant, Equiterre and SeedChange, and has extensive governance experience on the Boards of Directors of the Clean Economy Fund, the Foundation of Greater Montreal, MakeWay, Centraide du Grand-Montréal, and others. Jane is passionate about collaborating with partners to advance ambitious social and environmental objectives rooted in authentic relationships and shared learning. As a member of the senior leadership team, Jane has played a crucial role in the evolution of the Foundation. The Board looks forward to McConnell’s next chapter with Jane at the helm. The Board thanks outgoing CEO Lili-Anna Pereša for her leadership, and recognizes her achievements in the role, including: the launch of the focus areas strategy and the impact investing strategy, which includes the goal of 100% impact investing; and the initiation of a capital transfer of $30 million to Indigenous-led philanthropic organizations. The Board thanks Lili-Anna for her contributions in the fulfillment of our Mission and Vision, and we look forward to McConnell’s next chapter with Jane at the helm.
