For years, we’ve been told: • Grind now, enjoy later. • You have to make sacrifices for success. • If you really want it, you’ll outwork everyone else, like 7 days/week. So we skip birthdays. We work through weekends. We missed milestones with the people we love. And before you know it... You missed your best friend’s wedding. You weren't there for your parents when they needed you around. And the “later” you were grinding for? It never came. Here’s what I've learned about the ever-glorified Hustle Culture: 🚨 The people who "win" the hustle game are often the first to regret it. 🚨 Nobody looks back and wishes they spent more time in meetings. 🚨 Chasing a goal at the cost of everything else is not success. It’s a trade-off. How you can work towards "success" without burning out: ✅ Define YOUR version of success. What actually matters to you - not what hustle culture tells you should. ✅ Set “enough” goals. Know when more isn’t worth it. ✅ Protect your time like your future depends on it - because it does. Because success isn’t just about money, titles, or promotions. It’s about building a life you don't have to escape from every weekend/every summer. TL;DR: If the price of success is your entire life, it’s too expensive. Build a career that lets you live - not just work.
