Because of them, we raised $3.5 million to support youth serving organizations across the country. Your participation made this year’s event extraordinary and unforgettable.

Each year, there are 35,000-40,000 youth struggling with homelessness in Canada. The Home Depot Canada Foundation is committed to changing this reality. The Orange Door Project campaign is part of The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s response to one of the most urgent social issues facing Canadians today, offering these young individuals a chance at a better life. From June 4 to July 7, 2024, you can be part of this change. By shopping at your local Home Depot Store and donating at the store’s checkout or online at OrangeDoorProject.ca, you are directly supporting the youth in our community. Remember, 100% of all funds raised support a local youth-serving charity in your community. Join us by donating online or in-store and help create new pathways for youth experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in Canada. https://bit.ly/3p2NZiD #theorangedoorproject #thehomedepot #thehomedepotcanadafoundation

We are proud to announce that The Home Depot Canada has been honored with the ENERGY STAR Canada National Retailer of the Year for the 16th time! This award underscores our efforts to support customers transitioning to energy-efficient products and our continued commitment to helping our customers reduce their environmental impact. With a vast selection of more than 5,000 ENERGY STAR® certified products online and in-store across our 182 stores in Canada, we have energy-efficient solutions for almost any project. This year’s award is the result of company-wide efforts to increase our ENERGY STAR-certified product assortment, promote the Canada Greener Homes Initiative, and support provincial rebate programs. In 2023, The Home Depot Canada drove more than $346 million in ENERGY STAR-certified product sales, helping Canadians save energy and make better choices when considering energy efficient home upgrades. Through our rebate program partnerships with BC Hydro, FortisBC, SaskPower, Efficiency Manitoba, Enbridge Gas, efficiencyPEI, Efficiency Nova Scota, and takeCHARGE Newfoundland, customers were able to leverage rebates and save more than $4 million on energy-efficient product purchases in 2023. Thank you to our dedicated cross-functional teams and valued partners for making this possible. Together, we are building a more sustainable future. 🌍💚 See our full press release https://lnkd.in/giEi4yiG #Sustainability #ENERGYSTAR #EnergyEfficiency #HomeImprovement #ESG #award #ENERGYSTARCanAwards The Home Depot, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)
