Wildfire season has begun earlier than expected this year and with an evacuation order in place for Fort Nelson many of the evacuees are staying in Fort St. John . A team from Trican FSJ, Tonka Coating and Mercur Contracting with donations from the FSJ Co-op stepped up in a big way feeding over 400 people and donating a pallet of water to the evacuees. Thank you to Andrew Mockler, your team and everyone else that joined Team Trican to make this happen.

New record set! Pacific Canbriam Energy has drilled the longest well in the company’s history. At 5,305 metres in lateral length and reaching a total measured depth of 8,006 metres, the well is also the longest in the Montney. Long wells optimize resource extraction and reduce the number of well sites needed, cutting down on land disturbance. Congratulations to our partners Baker Hughes, CES Drilling Fluids, Trican Well Service Ltd., and Savanna Drilling Corp. on this incredible achievement! #montney #drilling #Canadiannaturalgas
