Kiep. 1. #AI is currently utilized by fewer than 20% of stakeholders for filtering early-stage fundraising companies, indicating its limited influence in this market. Prolonged discussions highlighted that face-to-face interactions remain crucial for early-stage startups, while the consensus suggests that AI's role in filtering companies during later stages, such as Series A and beyond, is expected to increase soon. 2. Current due diligence processes are largely manual, with AI primarily used to screen basic investment criteria, yet its impact remains minimal. The integration of AI in nuanced investment decisions is far off, as it lacks the ability to understand the human dynamics behind a company. Discussions are underway about incorporating personality assessments to evaluate the resilience and capability of executive teams, highlighting AI's limitations in grasping the complexities of #startup environments. 3. The event was highly successful, showcasing numerous #healthtech and medtech startups making significant market impacts, with one #medtech startup ranking fifth in the top 100 startups list. Numerous valuable connections were made, and initial discussions with several startups are scheduled for the coming weeks. #VentureCapital #Switzerland
