Modern Airline Retailing (MAR) breaks traditionally internal #airlines silos to create a technological environment centered on the customer. As Olivier Hours, puts it: “Customers should have frictionless interactions with airlines at any stage of their journey.” “Airlines need to engage the customer in ways that the customer has come to expect from other industries,” concludes Hours. “This will mean educating all parties on completely new processes at the airport and throughout the journey.
