On December 3rd, 2024, the Mammut Store in Munich set the stage for an inspiring evening dedicated to the launch of the innovative Eiger Extreme 6.0 collection. Bringing together outdoor enthusiasts, opinion leaders, and mountaineering athletes, the event was a celebration of passion for the mountains and cutting-edge technology. The Highlights: - Eiger Extreme 6.0 Collection Reveal: Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to explore Mammut's latest collection, designed with scientific precision and tested in the most extreme environments. - Inspiring Panel Discussion: Experts and collaborators, including W. L. Gore & Associates, RECCO, Polartec, and Pertex, delved into the innovations and partnerships that shaped Eiger Extreme 6.0. - Design and Development Insights: Guests heard firsthand from the athletes and product developers behind the collection, gaining a deeper understanding of its creation. - Exclusive Expedition Talk: Alpinists Stephan Siegrist and Jonas Schild delivered a thrilling presentation on their October 2024 expedition to India. Alongside their rope team partners, they achieved what is likely the first ascent of the southwest ridge of the Bhagirathi III, a 6,000-meter peak. Their account showcased how a Plan B turned into an extraordinary alpine accomplishment. The Eiger Extreme 6.0 collection represents a leap forward in outdoor gear, setting new standards for performance and durability.
