In 1959 Piaget unveils its first store in Geneva. It is not a boutique, it is a salon. A concept that merges fine watchmaking and fine jewellery: the precision and mastery of one igniting the artistry of the other. The house favours creative freedom by taking a drawing – not from a gemstone - as a starting point for a piece of fine jewellery. In 1963, it causes a sensation by launching the first watches featuring ornamental stones. Time is now told through malachite, tiger’s eye, coral, a new flamboyance that is distinctly Piaget. In 1969, it gave birth to the 21st Century Collection, made uniquely of cuff watches and swinging sautoirs in textured gold and ornamental stones. The New High Jewellery Swinging Sautoir The Swinging Sautoir made its first debut in 1969 with the now iconic 21st Century Collection. In an homage to the boldness, extravagance, and avant-garde style of the 60s and 70s, the Maison is now unveiling a new Sautoir. At the center of the masterpiece, a kaleidoscopic white opal cabochon of 11.68-carats suspends the watch case. A tassel of diamonds, gold, and chalcedony swings below from a rare emerald-cut yellow sapphire for extra Piaget flair. The Altiplano Tourbillon High Jewellery Watch The Altiplano Tourbillon High Jewellery Watch: a stunning timepiece equipped with the ultra-thin hand-wound Tourbillon caliber, the 670P. Eternally striving for watchmaking excellence, Piaget debuted the Manufacture Tourbillon caliber 20 years ago with the Emperador collection — the world’s thinnest hand-wound tourbillon movement at the time, measuring at a stunning 3.5mm. A night of Extraleganza. Friends and ambassadors of the Maison rendez-vous at the High Jewellery Gala in dazzling masterpieces from the new collection. They are the first to embrace the new Piaget era of radiant elegance, celebrating 150 years of extraordinary artistry. During the Piaget Gala Dinner, the models were beautifully dressed for the model show thanks to @Lanvin.

The Limelight Gala Sparkle capsule is a tribute to the endless radiance and solar spirit of the Maison. Piaget: where mastery ignites artistry. In a symphony of blue, this necklace frames an oval blue sapphire from Madagascar, weighing 13.05 carats. A double row of sapphires, tourmalines, and marquise-cut aquamarine gems are surrounded by a cascade of opals, turquoise, and diamonds. The gold setting is engraved with the iconic Décor Palace design for a creation that is uniquely Piaget.

The House of Gold, known for savoir-faire excellence in sculpting and crafting golden creations. For this High Jewellery Watch, 200 golden elements have been crafted and adjusted by hand into elegant twists. The use of 2N yellow gold enhances the link to Patrimony creations, and heightens the beauty of the asymmetrical composition featuring 26.11 carats of emeralds. An enamel dial, perfectly matched to the deep green of the gems, is set on a gold engraved dial for volume and texture. Baguette-cut emeralds and diamonds are mounted in the golden mosaic, all set on different levels for an haute couture style. Each level is individually assembled by artisans over the course of 550 hours with ultimate expertise and artistry.

More than 30 carats of green gems are highlighted with interlacing links for a beautiful interplay of precious metals and stones. With an iconic play of colors, the Maison enters its next golden age. In the daring avant-garde style of the 60s and 70s, Piaget is debuting a bold new High Jewellery creation. At the center of the piece, a cushion-cut spessartine gem mesmerizes with a brilliant 21.23 carats. Embracing the House of Gold’s classic codes, master goldsmiths have handcrafted a gold mesh chain link by link, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and round-cut yellow sapphires for a display of Piaget extraleganza. A mesmerizing carnelian gradation from light to vivid orange offers a warm dynamism to the aesthetic, each stone expertly cut to perfectly fit the design. With 310 hours of jewellery work behind its creation, this striking High Jewellery necklace was born.
