66 countries leading a Global Movement to end malnutrition in all its forms

The SUN Movement brings together development agencies, inter-governmental organizations (especially the UN system), civil society groups, and business to support government-led actions that improve peoples nutrition. 66 SUN Countries from Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa, home to at least half of the world’s chronically undernourished children, have joined the SUN Movement. Over a billion adolescent girls and women worldwide suffer from undernutrition and micronutrient deficiencies, negatively impacting their health and that of their children. More than half of the 51 million children who are stunted by the age of two suffer from inadequate nutrition during pregnancy and the first six months of life. Investing in nutrition is vital for empowering girls and women. That is why we have joined forces with Stronger Foundations for Nutrition, UNICEF and UN Women to call for action. When we prioritize nutrition, we’re not just addressing health; we’re enabling futures. 🔄 Support our message and #PowertheChange 🔋: https://lnkd.in/eMhTvxSX 📺 https://lnkd.in/epmz4h2p
