🌱 Exploring New Frontiers in Agriculture: Connecting to the Soil 🌱 We recently hosted two open exploration workshops with the Innovation Boosters Swiss Food Ecosystems & Future Food Farming powered by Innosuisse, bringing together over 50 participants from diverse fields—farmers, producers, researchers, chefs, microbiologists, agroecologists, and more. Our shared mission? To explore the hurdles preventing a deeper connection with the soil that sustains us all. 🌍 The workshops were enriched by visits to Biohof Z'Alpenblick and Ferme de Lilan, two pioneering farms leading the way in sustainable and regenerative agriculture. They shared not only their visionary approaches but also the challenges they face daily, offering a courageous view into the future of farming. Nature itself was a powerful participant, reminding us of the realities farmers face — sun, wind, and rain, all in a day's work. 🌞💨🌧️ Key challenges we tackled included: 🌱 How to improve soil value while maintaining production efficiency. 🌾 Raising awareness about the true value of food and soil regeneration. 📊 Leveraging data-management to support long-term soil resilience. 🌍 Mitigating risks associated with innovative agricultural practices. The discussions were fruitful, the opportunity statements bold, and the commitment strong. Together, we are planting seeds for radical innovation, which we hope to see develop with a possible funding of CHF 39'000,. Thank you to everyone who took part! 🌿 #RegenerativeAgriculture #SoilHealth #SustainableFarming #Agroecology #InnovationInAgriculture #Swissinnovationbooster #FoodSystems Partnering with Cluster Food & Nutrition Simon Meister, Flavia Rothen, Tayan Wagner, Lucas Grob, Helene Renaux
