The global movement to build stronger health systems for universal health coverage

Info

UHC2030 is the movement to build stronger health systems for universal health coverage (UHC). With its Secretariat provided by the World Health Organization, the World Bank and the OECD, it provides a global platform for health advocates to work together to UHC by mobilizing political commitment, demanding and tracking accountability, and promoting collective action for health systems. UHC2030 brings together diverse partners including governments, international organizations and global health initiatives, philanthropic foundations, civil society, and the private sector. It also unites partnerships, collaboratives and networks that focus on strengthening different aspects of health systems, and promotes mutually reinforcing action and sharing of information, learning and resources. Ultimately, UHC2030 builds political momentum around a joint vision of health systems strengthening for the intertwined goals of UHC and health security, and advocates for sufficient, appropriate and well-coordinated resource allocation to health systems.
