    Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming over 50 esteemed technology leaders from the ITMA - IT Management Association (Singapore) CIO Study Trip for an exciting day of learning, exchanges and cross-border innovation in Zurich. A big thank you to Flughafen Zürich AG for the valuable partnership that made this visit possible and generously hosting the delegation to discuss insightful topics on sustainability, tech innovation, and the Airport Operations Plan (AOP) project. It was fascinating to see how the airport is leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and innovation in the aviation industry, fusing tech and business. The visit was a fantastic opportunity for us to exchange insights on responsible AI governance, value engineering, and the shared challenges and opportunities that tech leaders face globally. We really enjoyed the diverse perspectives — from Singapore’s forward-thinking technology landscape to Switzerland’s rich heritage in precision and innovation — opening up new avenues for ideation and problem-solving when global minds work together. A heartfelt thank you to the ITMA delegation and partners for this enriching exchange and the valuable insights.     At the Empple 2024, our Group Chief Technology & Delivery Officer, Aleksandar Marjanovic, joined an insightful panel discussion titled 𝘈 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘏𝘙 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘌𝘖𝘴, alongside Biljana Jovanović (General Manager, Luna Fashion) and Nikola Riznić (CEO, D Express Srbija). Together, they explored the intricate dynamics of decision-making, challenges faced by leadership, and the crucial role talent plays in today’s business landscape. Aleksandar shared that over 30% of topics at the executive level are now focused on talent - highlighting the critical importance of nurturing and retaining the best people. He also reflected on the growing pace of change: "The speed and scale of transformation today are far beyond what we saw five years ago. Adapting to these changes is one of the biggest challenges." When reflecting on the tough lessons learned, he admitted that losing core team members during growth stages is always painful, but it's a reality of the business world. "Now I know that I need to prepare a lot for those moments mentally." Looking ahead, Aleksandar believes that how companies treat their people will be a key differentiator.
