🚀 It’s a launch. Yesterday, after months of anticipation, Wandelbots launched “NOVA” at the Albertinum in the tech-driven city of Dresden. CEO Christian described their new product as "windows for robots" ... one unified system that can speak every robot's language 🤖   🇩🇪 Following 1.5 years of building the platform, they are already working with industry leaders like Schaeffler and 3M and partnering with Microsoft and NVIDIA. "Deep tech can be the engine of Hungary's growth," he says. 🇭🇺 10% of Hungarian startups are building in deep tech — success stories include aiMotive (autonomous driving), Tresorit (cloud services) and Turbine ... which teaches AI how to simulate biology 🧬 However, tech transfer channels need to be improved. 💡 Operator insights: Clue’s Audrey Tsang reflects on stepping down as CEO with Sifted. It’s “the best job I’ve ever had,” she says. 🩸 Since its founding in 2012, Clue has become part of a societal movement to help people understand, and be more open about, periods and reproductive health. Tsang left Silicon Valley in 2018 to take up the role of VP of product — and stepped into the CEO role in March 2021. 🪨 The road has been rocky — but Tsang put the startup on a path to profitability.
