Cluster decorated recognition elements on DNA origami for enhanced raman spectroscopic detection methods 🇪🇺 GA 964248
Info
The project "DeDNAed" intends to develop a novel, innovative biosensing platform whose ad-vantages and benefits are in terms of sensitivity, versatility and being ultrafast by an optical ap-proach. Our platform will be based on the assembly and integration of sensing elements (trans-ducer and bioreceptor) by DNA origami. The DNA origami will serve as a “nano breadboard” in order to precisely control the position of these elements and thus the sensor architecture at the nanometer scale. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 964248. 🇪🇺 Posts and shares reflect only the views of the project owner.

How do you make a biosensor that is safer and more sustainable? Julia Voglhuber-Höller presented a poster on BNN - BioNanoNet's work in "Safe-by-Design (#SbD) of DNA origami-based biosensors: Moving towards safer nano-innovations" in the DeDNAed project at #Nanotexnology2024 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Later in the project they also introduced some Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (#SSbD) principles. Thanks to co-authors Susanne Resch Salja Tahiraj Matiss Reinfelds Johanna K. Scheper, PhD, MBI Andreas Falk.

Fantastic to see Saloni Agarwal with 2 posters for DeDNAed at IBB-Golm Science Day!
👉🏽 IBB-Golm #Science Day was celebrated on the 19th June at University of Potsdam , campus Golm. It is always an amazing time to present the update about the work done with my peers and discuss scientific #challenges and #opportunities. 📌I presented two posters describing my #PhD work, first one about the significance of #isothermal nucleic acid amplification and its application as a #pointofcare using lateral flow assay readout. 📌Second one about #importance of #bioanalytical characterization of #binding #kinetics for the recognition element of choice in a #biosensor, as a part of DeDNAed project. 👩🏻🔬🧑🔬The work in the posters would not be possible without the supportive environment in the lab group, my supervisor-mentor, and the students working with me. Also, the acknowledgement to the funding agencies #BMBF and #EuropeanUnion.

DNA origami in the Austrian Alps! DeDNAed was represented this week at #TechForumMillstatt with a poster by Julia Voglhuber-Höller of BNN - BioNanoNet about Safe-(and-Sustainable)-by-Design activities in the project (graciously presented by her colleague Matiss Reinfelds, along with Clemens Wolf). A wonderful opportunity in a picture-perfect setting to get visibility from Austrian startups, SMEs, industry and researchers.
