The root of healthy plants? Roots, of course! Roots absorb water and essential nutrients from the soil, which then travel to the leaves and other parts of the plant 🌱 With the help of sunlight, plants convert carbon dioxide and water into sugars through photosynthesis. These sugars, along with nutrients absorbed from the soil, are used to create amino acids and other compounds that nourish the entire plant system. But to have healthy roots, plants need healthy soil. That’s where #RegenerativeAgriculture comes in. By focusing on practices that restore soil health—like cover cropping, reduced tillage, and diverse crop rotations—we can build more resilient soil that supports deeper, stronger root systems 🤎 Do you know any fun facts about plant roots?
