The combined services will provide a one-stop-shop, truly independent resource for machine process control, all in real-time, presented visually on our MissionOS platform. Users of our platform, which is accessible on any browser and web-connected devices, can interact with all aspects of their mechanised tunnelling projects, in a single platform, simplifying the manner in which tunnelling data is managed. According to Dr Angus Maxwell, Founder & CEO of Maxwell GeoSystems, “The combination of GIS and Digital Twin with flexible data ingestion, analysis and reporting, will further de-risk tunnelling by bringing information into proper context. Adding guidance to this area, especially with the pedigree of PPS, is the complete package.” This collaboration between PPS and Maxwell GeoSystems will provide clients with the ability to log their machines completely independent of the machine supplier. Dr Maxwell adds, “The PPS solutions do not rely on the communications software systems of the machine manufacturers, and this is the distinct advantage for customers who consider data to be highly proprietary.” Quirin Poltinger, CEO of PPS adds, “Combining relevant project data with geo-referenced information is crucial to any tunnel project, eliminating performance issues during the ramp-up phase and the rest of the active mining process as fast as possible, to avoid delays and increased costs. Excited to share that last week's commission of the #PPS guidance system on the #Scaletta TBM in beautiful Sicily is now successfully complete! ☀️ This impressive machine, with a diameter of 9.16m and a length of 140m, will excavate 6,950m x2 for the #Giampilieri - #Fiumefreddo railway project. It’s the fourth of five TBM machines in Messina-Catania now equipped with PPS technology and ready for its journey. A big thank you to Webuild and CREG TBM Germany GmbH for their excellent collaboration in making this happen.
