Huge applause to the #CleanTech innovators: ALBON, AnyCharge, CarbonTag, #Cranitech, Incy Tech, ReduCO2, Treeva, Valoron, and Ventrix Labs! 🏆 Five teams are heading to the 𝗠𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗘𝗣 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 on April 17-18, 2025, in Boston! Proud to see Valoron and ReduCO2 representing the TUM Venture Lab ecosystem in the finals. 🏆 Congrats to #LiftoffTechnologies, winner of the $5,000 semi-final prize for their 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆! 🎙️ Two expert panels sparked key discussions, moderated by our colleague Anna Ullmann ▶️ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This panel with Libby Wayman (Breakthrough Energy & MIT), Tobias Gefäller (SAP Sustainability), and Philipp Gerbert (TUM Venture Labs) emphasized the challenges of scaling CleanTech start-ups, AI’s role in accelerating solutions, and the need for scalable business models. 💡 "AI is our biggest joker in the fight against climate change. It accelerates both scientific discovery and the development of new solutions. Today, you simply cannot build a successful company without leveraging AI." – Dr. Philipp Gerbert 💡 "Stay relentlessly customer-focused. Keep engaging with the market, gather feedback, and don’t get lost in the technical solution—always ensure it meets real-world needs." – Libby Wayman 💡 "Think about scalability from the start.
