Helmholtz-Institut Freiberg für Ressourcentechnologie (HIF) am HZDR hat dies direkt geteilt
From idea to impact: Seven scientists from Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) and Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) at HZDR attended the Start-up Days 2024 in Munich last week. The two-day event, organized by the #transfer offices of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft and the Max Planck Society was aimed at #scientists interested in founding their own #company. Borhane Ben Said, Dr. Rohan J., Aratrika Ghosh, Jan Tiemann, Enkhnomin Enkhjargal, Dr. Jonathan Engelhardt and Peter Boelens found inspiration and motivation to develop their #research #ideas into a potential #spinoff venture. In total, four promising innovative approaches from research at HIF and HZDR are on their way into #application now: 💡 Novel biotechnological process to extract gallium from industrial #wastewater 💡 Optimization of #flotation processes for #mining companies 💡 Extended Reality #Microscopy 💡 Magnetic processing for the extraction of #rareearths from phosphor powders We are keeping our fingers crossed for all spin-off projects to become reality. Good luck!
