This special event marked 78 years of strong diplomatic relations between Denmark and the Philippines, highlighting the shared values of cooperation, trust, and progress between our two nations. The CE Group takes Barcelona ☀ Earlier this month, the CE and CET teams from across Europe came together for our annual trip, this time in the beautiful city of Barcelona. We explored iconic landmarks like Park Güell and La Sagrada Família, soaked in the local culture, and enjoyed a boat ride along the Mediterranean, where we caught a glimpse of the 37th America’s Cup. We are proud to share that the three BuhaWind Energy Philippines projects have been awarded the prestigious Green Lane Certificate by the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI). This unique certification is designed to streamline the process of securing future permits and licenses, allowing us to fast-track the development of these projects. It is a significant milestone that will help us bring renewable energy solutions to life more efficiently. We will be celebrating this milestone at the official award ceremony at the end of the month, and we look forward to sharing more news as these projects progress. Copenhagen Energy secures key milestones for German repowering projects 🌱   We are proud to announce the successful financing of our repowering project in Germany, achieved in partnership with Sparkasse Paderborn-Detmold-Höxter. The financing process was efficiently executed and met our expectations, reflecting our thorough planning and coordination.   In addition, we have entered into a turbine supply agreement (TSA) with German manufacturer ENERCON. ENERCON will deliver the E-138 EP3 E3 turbine for our project.   Both milestones are considered critical to the project, which is located in North Rhine-Westphalia. Earlier this year, the project won the latest EEG auction.   With financing and the TSA secured, we are ready to begin the construction phase and eagerly anticipate the project’s advancement.

WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 was a success 👏 The team had a great time at this year's WindEnergy conference in Hamburg. We had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and engage in valuable discussions on the continued development of our global projects, both on and offshore. I had the pleasure to welcome Michael Wright, Secretary of the Electrical Trades Union of Australia in our office in Copenhagen. We had great discussions on the importance of offshore wind for job creation. One of the key talking points for creation of training facilities and how offshore wind can be a huge benefit for local work force and help transition workers from the fossil industry.
