Undersøgelsen viser, at venner, fællesskab og gode relationer til både klassekammerater og lærere er noget af det allervigtigste for at have lyst til at gå i skole. Indre Styrke programmet taler ind i og understøtter tilgangen, hvor både elever og lærere er i fokus.

🌍 Empowering Farmers, Brewing Change in Nepal ☕️ At Human Practice Foundation, we’re committed to not only educating children but also uplifting entire communities through sustainable development. One of our most impactful initiatives is the Coffee Program in partnership with Lekali Coffee Estate, which has been transforming the lives of farmers in Nepal’s Taplejung District since 2017. This program goes beyond coffee—it’s about creating a path to financial independence for over 2200 farmers and their families. By introducing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), providing high-quality coffee seedlings, and connecting farmers to global markets, we’ve built a system that brings both economic and social benefits. Coffee produced by the farmers is now reaching international buyers, such as Hagen Espresso Bars in London, and we’ve planted more than 240,000 coffee plants with over 40,000 seedlings ready to be planted. What makes this program special is its focus on long-term sustainability. We’ve established seven coffee nurseries and trained 754 students in coffee farming, ensuring that future generations can benefit from this growing industry. By 2030, we expect local coffee production to reach 1,000 kg of green beans, creating a substantial income for these communities. But we’re not stopping there! Our expansion plans aim to bring this success story to even more farmers, helping them build stable incomes while protecting natural resources through sustainable farming methods. Aligning Efforts for Educational Progress in Kenya   Last week, the Human Practice Foundation (HPF) hosted a reception with the Danish Embassy in Nairobi. The event brought together organizations in the education sector, Danish businesses, and international organizations to align HPF's initiatives with like minded partners.   Danish Ambassador to Nairobi, Stephan Schonemann, welcomed guests and emphasized the importance of HPF’s work for social justice in underserved communities in Kenya. HPF CEO, Pernille Krus Madsen, shared how our education programs can support the Danish government's goals in education and youth development in line with the new Africa plan .   HPF is dedicated to improving education infrastructure and quality for communities in the Maasai Mara and Mount Kenya regions. 🌟 A Story of Transformation: Mbitin Primary School 🌟 We are excited to share the amazing transformation of Mbitin Primary School, made possible by the support of Nikesh Engineer. In a short time, we have seen significant changes that have positively impacted students, teachers, and the community. Thanks to our partnership with the Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservancies Association (#MMWCA), we have achieved some remarkable milestones: 🏫 Five new classrooms 🏫 Renovated seven classrooms 📚 A modern library 🚻 Four new toilet blocks for students and teachers ⚡ An electric fence to help reduce human-wildlife conflict 💧 A sustainable water harvesting system 🎠 A new playground for early learners These improvements have created a vibrant and safe learning environment for everyone. Dear All, We are still buzzing with excitement from our fantastic anniversary party! 🥳🎂 A huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you who made this evening so special. Your energy, joy, and engagement turned it into an unforgettable experience. This year, we’re not just marking an anniversary – we’re celebrating a remarkable milestone. 🎓🌍 Over the past decade, our foundation has built 100 schools in Nepal and Kenya, providing educational opportunities to thousands of children in these regions. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support and dedication. We are also proud to highlight our Inner Strength Program, which supports children in Danish schools. Our initiative focuses on enhancing children’s emotional resilience and fostering a positive mindset, equipping them with the tools they need to overcome challenges and thrive both academically and personally. We are on track to expand to 30 schools and are currently active in 14. Many of our guests gained a better understanding of the core aspects of this Danish project during the celebration. Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is searching for a UK Country Manager to join the team and further establish the organisation in this market. The charity’s mission is to work sustainably and holistically to build schools and bring 1,000,000 children into a safe and empowering educational environment, with a focus in Nepal and Kenya.    The UK Country Manager will prioritise continuing the growth of the charity’s funds and will work with an existing network of trusts & foundations and philanthropic individuals, as well as continuing to spread HPF’s message.    If you are a proactive, creative person with an entrepreneurial mindset, a track record of building incredible relationships and networks, and an ability to work both strategically and operationally, we would love to talk to you about the role. Meet Hillary Atindah 💚🌿 We are proud to introduce Hillary Atindah, our dedicated Digital Literacy Officer for the Human Practice Foundation in the Mt. Kenya region. Hillary has been instrumental in driving a remarkable transformation across 17 schools, bridging the digital divide and empowering both teachers and learners to thrive in the digital age. Through comprehensive digital skills training, Hillary has equipped over 200 teachers and more than 2000 learners with the tools they need to excel. The training covers content development, scratch programming, using laptops and projectors, reading stories online, and project-based STEM learning, among other crucial skills. Hillary shares, “I’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation in our 17 schools. Our initiative has empowered our teachers to become innovators, confidently integrating digital tools into their classrooms. Our learners have blossomed into digital natives, developing essential 21st-century skills that align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), and Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8). The ripple effects of our work are inspiring – from improved learning outcomes to a vibrant digital learning ecosystem in Mt. Kenya.” Hillary’s work underscores the profound impact of our digital literacy initiative, fostering a culture of innovation and learning that drives positive change in our community.
