EDECS Foundation for Sustainable Development has partnered with Elsewedy Technical Academy - STA to support technical education in Egypt. The partnership will fund two programs, ‘Heavy Equipment & Diesel Maintenance’ and ‘Electrical Installations in Buildings’. Over the next three years, students will receive practical training at EDECS workshops and sites, while the theoretical content at STA, earning a diploma accredited by the Ministry of Education and a competency certificate from the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce. EDECS is proud to be awarded the construction of 'New Containers Terminal' at Sokhna Port for Red Sea Containers Terminals. The commencement was commemorated in a ceremony held at the project site, presided by EDECS’s Chairman and Managing Director, Eng. Hussein El-Dessouky. This project is designed to significantly enhance the port's operational capabilities, solidifying its position as a key player in maritime commerce, whilst boosting the container terminal's capacity to an impressive 1.610 million TEUs annually. #EDECS #SokhnaPort
