👏 At Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, Juan S. Angarita-Zapata presented Aimsun's role in the Gemini Project. He showed how simulation and artificial intelligence solutions can guide the implementation of new mobility services and support traffic management control centres in operating those new services. This is the Allianz Arena and FC Bayern use case in Munich.

A synchronized approach to multimodal smart city mobility and logistics - this was the topic of discussion at the Smart City Expo World Congress , where we joined forces with PNO Innovation (Spain) to present the SYNCHROMODE Project. Athina Tympakianaki, PhD explains the role of AI-driven algorithms, real-time data analytics and simulation in equipping cities with the tools to effectively respond to traffic incidents, enhance multimodal connectivity, and optimize transport network performance. DATASPACES: Data quality best practices and standardized concepts are essential for developing effective AI models and digital twins. At Smart City Expo World Congress, Josep Maria Aymami shared the stage with Iker Gonzalez Cuellar from i2CAT and Antonio Lalaguna Lisa of Acisa to present our data-sharing collaboration for smarter mobility: namely, Acisa's Smart Mobility Platform can now seamlessly share traffic data with Aimsun via the EU-compliant DataSpace connector developed by i2CAT. DataSpace gives cities greater control over how their data is shared and published, fostering innovation, collaboration and data sovereignty while unlocking new value from their stored mobility data. As a result, creating a comprehensive testing environment for automated cars requires a system that accurately mirrors the real world and its human factors.
