    You need to know how your prospect likes to communicate 🤔 So how do you get there? There are two ways: 1️⃣ The multitouch approach The multitouch approach uses a variety of channels. This helps SDRs to gauge which one the prospect prefers. Whether it’s phone, email, or social. Top enterprise SDRs argue that this approach doesn’t make room for any assumptions. 2️⃣ A validated approach With a validated approach, you select one channel based on where you’ve seen success. The logic for this is that people are unlikely to be reachable across all channels. So, using one channel that lands well with the prospect makes your cadence more likely to progress.     Improving your sales pitching skills is a journey of growth 🌱 It involves practising, reflecting, and learning continuously. Here’s how to level up your sales pitch efforts: ✅ Study successful pitches Learn from pros! Observe techniques, storytelling, language use, and structure of successful pitches in your field. Apply their insights to upgrade your pitch. ✅ Know your product/service Develop a deep understanding of your product or service, its features, benefits, and unique selling points. Be knowledgeable about how it solves your prospect’s problems. ✅ Practice regularly Improve your delivery and message. Practice in front of a mirror, record yourself or role-play with a colleague. Focus on tone, body language, and clarity. ✅ Seek feedback Ask mentors or peers for input on your pitch. Take on board their suggestions and then implement the necessary improvements. ✅Embrace rejections View rejections as opportunities to learn and grow. Reflect on what you could’ve done differently or better. List the objections or concerns your prospects raised. Then, develop messaging to handle them better in future.     🎯 Why cold calling fails (and how to fix it) One of the biggest reasons cold calling doesn't work for many salespeople is simple: They don’t sound like the person they’re trying to reach. 🗣️ Think about it—when you’re calling CEOs, MDs, or other high-level decision-makers, they are busy, direct, and to-the-point. If you approach the call with uncertainty or the wrong tone, they’ll quickly brush you off with a “send me an email” or worse, just hang up.     Want to speak to more prospects? 🤔 You’ll need good-quality B2B data. There are three key sources: ✔️Inbound leads This data can be valuable because it’s directly from the lead. But it’s important to consider the intent behind the action. Requesting a demo for example, is a far higher-intent activity than downloading an e-book. ✔️Sales sourced This is when sales reps go on a hunt for their data. Especially if cold outreach is a common route. They’ll research companies and prospects they want to turn into opportunities. ✔️ Data providers This could look either in the form of lists based on your ICP or enrichment through a third party.
