Last week, the #MIPIMAwards jury gathered at the stunning Royale Belge in Bruxelles to discuss the 2025 project submissions. 🏆   This iconic venue, a 2024 winner in both the Best Conversion and Best Mixed-Use categories, provided an inspiring setting for the discussions. MIPIM's Commitment to a Cleaner Future At #MIPIM, minimising waste is a key priority. Starting from MIPIM 2024, our badges are plastic-free and print-at-home, with cardboard holders recycled after each show. In 2024, we removed 3 tonnes of carpet compared to 2023, aiming to eliminate an additional tonne in 2025. Our furniture is reused across all RX events, ensuring longevity. Through our partnership with GreenBee we collect and donate assets for reuse, upcycling materials used at events. Thanks to les Alchimistes, all MIPIM-organised events transformed 150 kilos of bio-waste into high-quality compost. In 2025, we will use 40% less material for indoor signage, made from sustainable cardboard. Cigarette butts are collected by MéGO! for recycling, transforming spaces into zero-cigarette butt areas.
