ITML participated in the 2nd General Assembly meeting of the European research project A-IQ Ready, which took place on 25 and 26 September 2024 in Limassol, Cyprus. All the partners had the chance to share their progress and achievements and discuss their next steps. The project develops quantum sensing, edge continuum orchestration by AI and distributed collaborated intelligence technologies for intelligent and autonomous Electronic Components and Systems. 🌍 The SMAUG_EU HEU Project plenary meeting took place in Heraklion, Crete! 📢 SiC4GRID Consortium Meeting in Lenzburg, Switzerland – 2 Years of Progress! On October 10-11, the SiC4GRID consortium gathered at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors' facility in Lenzburg to assess the progress of ongoing Work Packages and align on the next steps. This meeting marked two years of dedicated collaboration and progress since the project's launch in October 2022. It was a productive session where we evaluated key achievements, assessed milestones and risks, and prepared for upcoming tasks critical to achieving our project goals. A highlight of our visit was an exclusive tour of Hitachi Energy's impressive semiconductor facility, led by Tobias Keller. We gained valuable insights into the meticulous processes behind semiconductor production, which underscored the high-level precision and expertise required to advance SiC technologies for a sustainable future. A big thank you to Hitachi Energy and team for hosting us, and to all consortium partners for their ongoing commitment and collaboration. For the successful implementation of a project, careful preparation and design are essential prerequisites! 💫 Last week, we traveled to Novi Sad, Serbia, for the 2nd plenary meeting of PANDORA Horizon Europe Project, organized by our partners at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences. 🎉 As ITML, we had the opportunity to present the Verification & Validation methodology we have developed over the past few months. This methodology will be used to evaluate the project's Use Cases and technologies. 🧑💻 We also provided an update on our Dimensionality Reduction and Feature Extraction component (DRFEC), which we plan to further develop and implement within the project.
