The impressive structure, constructed from 15,000 tonnes of steel, features a durable roof with fixed and retractable sections supported by bespoke trusses, ensuring acoustic excellence with high-efficiency soundproofing materials; it operates efficiently with over 4,800 tonnes of steel roof on silent mechanisms, transforming the venue in about 30 minutes, all while maintaining robust safety systems with fixed locks and independent track brakes. Hip Hing introduced and demonstrated its Distant Tower Crane Command System to the media today, at the Lee Garden Eight construction site in Causeway Bay. The event, which focused on sustainability and the application of technology in construction, was co-organised by Hysan and Chinachem, the developers of Lee Garden Eight.   Our Distant Tower Crane Command System combining Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT) and high-precision remote control technology is a pioneering innovation for the construction industry.   The demonstration was followed by a site tour and a media Q&A session, attended by Hysan Development Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Mr Ricky Lui, Chinachem Project Director Mr Edmond Lo, Hip Hing Managing Director Mr Chu Tat Chi and ATAL Engineering Group Executive Director and Managing Director Ir. Hip Hing received the Hong Kong Green Innovations Awards 2023 Gold Award for its outstanding green project “Pelletized Capsule MiC Concrete“at the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) Presentation Ceremony held on 2 December 2024.
