🎉 We’re thrilled to share the latest photos from our Church Fields development in Dublin 15, one of Ireland’s largest affordable housing initiatives! The recently launched Show Village, featuring 20 fully finished homes, has been completed just eight months after our sod-turning ceremony in February 2024. Delivered under a Design, Construction, Delivery, and Sale Development Agreement with Fingal County Council, this milestone is part of a broader plan to provide 517 A-rated homes for the local community. We’re also proud to announce that all 3 apartment blocks, which include 80 apartments, have topped out. Phase 3a will deliver 300 homes, while Phase 3b, which began on 18th November, will deliver 217 homes and is set for completion by July 2026. Progress is well underway on two new public spaces, Wellview Park and Linear Park, on course to be finished before the Christmas closure With the first 80 homes on track for completion by Christmas, this development showcases the dedication of our GEM team, supply chain partners, and design experts in fast-tracking delivery while prioritizing sustainable housing solutions. 🌟 We’re Delighted to be Shortlisted! 🌟 GEM is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Mental Health and Well-being Initiative of the Year at the Health & Safety Excellence Awards 2025 for our Light on a Dark Day initiative! Originally launched in 2020 and proudly relaunched last December, Light on a Dark Day is our commitment to raising mental health awareness and this initiative aims to bringing light and hope to the darkest time of the year. This initiative, in partnership with SOSAD Ireland, fosters open conversations, support, and meaningful impact both within GEM and the wider community. As part of our recent campaign, we hosted a company-wide lunch to encourage connection and introduced the heartfelt book “For My Friend in a Difficult Time,” now available at all our sites and offices. At GEM, health, safety, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. We have integrated mental health support into our health and safety protocols, ensuring that well-being is prioritized alongside physical safety. #ThrowbackThursday to a transformative commercial and residential development which was delivered by GEM in Dublin City Centre! 🏗️ This ambitious project at the corner of Wolfetone Street and Jervis Street delivered a 9,000m² retail space for Smyth’s Toy Store, seamlessly integrated with 75 local authority residential units above. Completed in two phases, the first stage involved constructing a reinforced concrete basement and superstructure, along with the complex task of underpinning existing buildings—all within just six months. The second phase saw the delivery of 75 modern residential units, built five storeys above the fully operational retail space, all while navigating the challenges of a tight city-centre site and a busy thoroughfare. We are delighted to share the latest photos of The Willows, a remarkable development playing a key role in the government’s Housing for All initiative. 🏘️🌿 This sustainable and vibrant community comprises 1,135 residential units, including houses, duplexes, and apartments, as well as a crèche and retail/commercial spaces. To date, 710 homes have been completed, and the final phase of over 150 homes remains on track for completion by late 2025. Beyond housing, community amenities are coming along nicely. The Town Park, featuring beautiful landscaping and a playground, is completed, while the Eastern Space Park, which includes a playground, is progressing well. Both parks are scheduled to open in Spring 2025. Additionally, a Retail and Medical Centre is steadily progressing, enhancing convenience for residents. The development also includes football pitches and green spaces, designed as part of the scheme for use by Dunshaughlin Youth Football Club (DYFC) and Dunshaughlin Athletic Club.
