Congrats on another great event Mylyn and Shannon Byrne Susko. Two of our KSN Directors Chris Grady and Donal Duffy attended the recent Metronomics Business Growth Seminar held at The Johnstown Estate. They found the event to be engaging, full of practical ideas on growth strategies that align core purpose with company vision and values. Jim Gavin's keynote was definitely a highlight. As big sports fans the connection between business strategy and elite sport on a playing and coaching level was really impactful. Thank you Naoise O'Kelly Hughes Paul O'Kelly for continuing to spark deep thinking and conversations that drive real impact.

Empowering Women in Construction: The Power of Collaboration. At KSN, we believe in the power of community, collaboration, and allyship. In celebration of International Women’s Day, we were delighted to welcome students Olla Hamza, Isabel Martinez, and Ella McCarthy to our office in Dublin to share thoughts and insights and to continue the conversation on female leadership in the construction industry. On the day Aoife Morris led a discussion on the evolving role of QS as a Life Cycle Assessor, Alan Byrne spoke about the transformative role of AI in construction. The three students led a discussion on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its impact on project efficiency and sustainability. This was the next phase in an ongoing collaboration and engagement with Joanne White and the team at Technological University Dublin and Emma Hayes FCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist. We welcome opportunities for knowledge sharing and believe in the power of mentorship in bridging the gender gap. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this initiative possible. Together, We Can Make a Difference! #WomenInConstruction #InternationalWomensDay #DiversityAndInclusion #FutureOfConstruction

What is the role of BIM in the Construction industry of today and tomorrow? TU Dublin kindly invited one of our directors, Marion St John and associate Aidan Ryan to be part of a panel discussion on the role of BIM together with Emma Hayes FCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist. This discussion is part of a series of 2025 events in Technological University Dublin - ‘Women In Construction’. The insights shared about BIM were thought-provoking, highlighting how this technology is revolutionising the way we design, construct and manage buildings. It was great to see how the panel are not only embracing BIM but also leading the charge in its implementation. At KSN we believe strongly in the power of collaboration in all aspects of life and work as the key to driving real change. Thank you to TU Dublin, students and industry for being part of this discussion which we look forward to continuing via future webinars and events. What are your thoughts on the future of BIM and how we can drive collaboration and innovation in our industry?! #BIM #WomanInConstruction #Diversity #TUDublin

Quantity Surveying - is this the career for you? KSN – Quantity Surveying TY Programme Our 2025 TY Programme offers students an insight into the profession of Quantity Surveying. We really enjoy having students come as they bring great ideas and fresh perspectives. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Jamie from St Benildus College, Dublin. Jamie’s enthusiasm and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring. During his time with us, he had the opportunity to meet and talk to a cross section of our team, go on a site visit and carry out a number of practical tasks. Outside of his studies, Jamie is a passionate mountain biker. We salute his dedication to his sport and see the similarities with our approach to Quantity Surveying – both require precision, commitment, and a drive for excellence. Thank you, Jamie, for being a part of our TY Programme. We will be keeping up to date on your future endeavors in sport and in life.
