We’re excited to launch a new video series where our Managing Director, John Rattigan, shares key insights from his 22 years in project delivery with Lafferty – now a Cumming Group Company – lessons shaped by landmark projects like Dundrum Town Centre, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Grand Canal Square, and the transformative Pembroke Quarter (Glass Bottle Site). Key Takeaway from Episode 1: “Go Slow To Go Fast.” Success in project delivery starts with strong foundations. In this first video, John explains: - The Importance of a Clear Project Charter: Defining what’s in (and out of) scope prevents costly changes later. - Front-End Loading: Ensuring key requirements are embedded early for smoother execution. - Space for Creative Design: Allowing architects and consultants to deliver high-value solutions before operational constraints take over. By taking the time upfront, projects can be delivered faster, more effectively, and with greater cost certainty. Watch the full episode of 'Go Slow To Go Fast' below, and visit our website to see the full series with all five lessons combined: https://lnkd.in/d7p5Qi-c What’s your experience with early-stage project setup? As another year has kicked-off, it's good to remind ourselves of how the work we do every day adds up to big impacts that help the construction industry work towards achieving our long-term climate goals. From Garda Headquarters to 37,636m² of Grade A office accommodation, it’s been an honour for our team to assist in the development and transformation of Harcourt Square. See the two year-long timelapse video below, which illustrates the hard work and dedication that has gone into making Harcourt Square a reality. It is an especially exciting part of the project to see the façade of the building taking shape before our eyes. The progress made to Harcourt Square in 2024 was nothing short of inspiring, and we're looking forward to seeing it serve the evolving needs of office users on its 1.9 acre Dublin city centre site.
