As we continue to mark the one-year anniversary of #October7, OLAM CEO Dyonna Ginsburg shared her own reflections, in a poignant Shalom Hartman Institute podcast. Listen to "A Nation That Still Can't Sleep" below:
A year ago, I was honored to be included in a stunningly beautiful and raw podcast by the Shalom Hartman Institute, sharing personal experiences of those first horrible days after October 7th, together with dear friends and colleagues. A year later, I'm grateful for this opportunity to share once more and begin to process the jumble of feelings and experiences (personally and at OLAM) of the past 12 months.

Imagine how this type of understanding could foster empathy, and enable us to offer not only comfort, but also tangible support." On the brink of Rosh Hashana, after a year filled with complexity and pain, OLAM CEO Dyonna Ginsburg reflects on 10 insights she's come to appreciate more deeply this year - about the world, the Jewish people, and OLAM’s network of Jewish humanitarians: https://lnkd.in/dfY6TWkd

We at OLAM are inspired by our partners and members each and every day. Your commitment to humanity drives positive change across the globe, reminding us of the profound impact we can achieve together. This was especially clear this year, as so many of our Israeli organizations brought their expertise home, while also continuing their vital work abroad, reminding all of us that compassion knows no borders and that our collective strength can rise to meet even the most challenging times. Your resilience and dedication have proven that global responsibility and local action go hand in hand. Wishing all those celebrating the Jewish new year a shana tova. May 5785 bring us #health, #peace, and meaningful #impact, and may we see the return of all our hostages. #OLAMTogether #ShanaTova
