The Dispersed Sources Program in Patna Expands! We are thrilled to announce that our Dispersed Sources Program, initially launched in areas under the Patna Municipal Corporation, has expanded to cover the Phulwari Sharif Nagar Parishad. This not only allows us to cover more area within our program but also scale our impact and reach more communities. Just yesterday, we conducted a comprehensive training for all relevant personnel on using A-PAG’s Clean Air Dashboard. This tool is crucial for monitoring and reviewing the program at all levels. Dispersed Sources Program: Making an Impact Across the NCR! Originally launched in Delhi, our Dispersed Sources Program actively addresses dust and garbage pollution throughout NCR, including Gurugram, NOIDA, Ghaziabad, and most recently, Faridabad. In the last six months alone, we've institutionalized technology-driven processes, conducted numerous trainings of officials at all levels, and resolved over 17,000 pollution issues with the support of top-level state and city government machinery. We're proud to share ongoing progress in our Dispersed Sources Program in Bihar currently operational in Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Gaya. This initiative, which mirrors our efforts across Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, leverages A-PAG’s Clean Air Project Dashboard (CAPD) to efficiently manage, track and resolve urban pollution issues. Through a clear-cut process, we identify polluting issues, allocate them to appropriate city officials, and track resolutions in real-time. Our dedicated teams work closely with Municipal Commissioners and Divisional Commissioners as well as the highest level of state governance including the Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department (PSUDD) and the Chief Secretary. To date, we've managed over 50,000 tickets concerning sanitation and construction, achieving an average closure rate of 80%. First of its kind industrial pollution program in Prayagraj! We're proud to lead the way with one of the first-of-its-kind initiatives in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh — the Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS). This program currently oversees 17 high-polluting industries, ensuring they meet emission standards. Our targeted interventions during the pilot have significantly improved compliance rates, from 12% to 40% by correcting installation errors and enhancing monitoring capabilities through tailored recommendations and capacity-building. #ContinousEmissons #IndustrialPollution #Prayagraj #UttarPradesh #AirPollution
