In observance of International Climate Action Day, the Bandhan-Konnagar Head Office team in Purulia, along with the Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) team, hosted an impactful event in Kashipur on 24th October 2024, emphasizing the urgency of climate resilience and sustainable development. The day began with an energetic rally spanning multiple Panchayats, igniting awareness about the critical fight against climate change. In the evening, an inspiring assembly was held at the Assistant Director of Agriculture (ADA) office. Bandhan-Konnagar’s leaders and local Government officials shared insights, progress, and pathways for a sustainable future and development. Special guests included Dr. Debmala Mukherjee (Assistant Director of Horticulture, Raghunathpur Subdivision), Mr. Rajesh Karmakar (Forest Ranger Officer, Kashipur Block), and Mr. Avijit Chaudhary (Joint Block Development Officer, Kashipur Block). National Nutrition Week (1st to 7th September) 2024 was celebrated throughout the month in 34 branches across Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and West Bengal under the Bandhan Health Programme. The theme, 'Nutritious Diets for Everyone,' emphasized the importance of ensuring balanced nutrition for people at every stage of life. Key initiatives included focus group discussions aimed at educating caregivers of under-5 children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers about the significance of a healthy diet. The event also featured rallies and seminars, with active participation from local stakeholders such as Chief Medical Officers of Health (CMOHs), Block Development Officers, Medical Officers, Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Panchayat Pradhans, health workers, and community leaders. On 23rd September 2024, Bandhan-Konnagar hosted the Internship Certificate Distribution Programme. This event celebrated the successful completion of the two-month internship programme, which was designed to provide hands-on experience in environmental sustainability and climate action under Bandhan Climate Action Programme. There were seven interns from Adamas University participated in the programme. The event was attended by Mr. Ronendra Chowdhury, Programme Director; Mr. Soumen Mitra (Retired IPS), Advisor; Mr. Arijit Dutta, Advisor; Prof. Jayanta Biswas, Head-Education; Mr. Sibasish Mitra, Chief Financial Officer, along with Mr. Mohiuddin Mollah, In-Charge Bandhan Climate Action Programme (BCAP) and team and Research team. Dr. Dhritiman Das, Assistant Professor from Adamas university also present during the programme.

World Breastfeeding Week is being observed throughout August. This year the focus was on "Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All." Bandhan-Konnagar has successfully organized rallies and seminars across 34 branches in Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. The seminars, which were held at Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) offices and block offices, have engaged Government Officials, community leaders, school teachers, and the dedicated health volunteers of BHP-Swasthya Sahayika. In addition, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) were conducted within the community throughout the month, emphasizing the importance of breastfeeding. These discussions have involved lactating and pregnant mothers, providing them with essential support and information. The seminars and rallies have been attended by various dignitaries, including the Additional Medical Officer of Health(CMHO), Block Chief Medical & Health Officer (BCMHO), Block Medical Officer of Health (BMOH), Block Development Officer (BDO), Medical Officers, Child Development Project Officer (CDPOs), Panchayat Pradhans, and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Supervisors, all of whom have contributed to the success of this programme. #worldbreastfeedingweek #bandhanhealthprogramme

It was a moment of pride that witnessed 100 beneficiaries receiving their graduation certificates and a plant sapling as a memento of development, hope, and a sustainable future. On the same day, Bandhan-Konnagar organized a graduation ceremony at SHG Group Hall, Howrah. This event witnessed the graduation of 30 beneficiaries.
