Continuing our endeavour to promote a safe workplace across our manufacturing plants, our Safety teams recently conducted Safety Open House sessions across our sites. The focus of these sessions was to emphasise the importance of a safe working culture, to ensure vigilance and to address hidden hazards. Our Head of Global Manufacturing for API, R.V Ramesh, spearheaded this initiative to foster mindfulness in championing safety within our organisation. These safety open house sessions provided a platform for employees to interact directly with leadership, seek clarity, and enhance their understanding of safety protocols, raise concerns regarding safety violations and hazards. Ramesh attributed various safety incidents to individual behaviours, stressing how our actions can impact safety outcomes. It’s not only important to prioritise our own safety but also to educate others about the repercussions of their unsafe behaviour. Therefore, ensuring both personal safety and the safety of our work environment becomes paramount. We are pleased to have partnered with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) as scientific partner on the release of a special booklet called ‘Headache Algorithm: A guide to Headache Management'. The booklet, made by specialists for specialists, focuses on the comprehensive management of headache disorders in India. It is part of the IMA's medical initiative, coming at a crucial time when headache management is a leading cause of neurological disability globally.   Through this booklet, the IMA aims to highlight the prevalence of headache disorders and especially migraine, explore its causes, and provide insights into its diagnosis and management. With dedicated sections on primary and secondary headache management, considerations regarding red flags, appropriate times for specialist referral, and the appropriate use and positioning of abortive and preventive treatments, the booklet offers evidence-based strategies for clinicians to tailor their treatment approaches accordingly. It was a pleasure to host the 33rd National Symposium of the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) at our Bachupally premises in Hyderabad. The unique event brought together eminent scientists, young researchers, and technologists across academia and industry. The aim was to facilitate discussions on achievements and new research directions in chemical and allied sciences, contributing to the pursuit and promotion of chemistry for the service of humanity. The symposium also aimed to foster industry-academia collaborations for future advancements in chemistry. It was attended by several luminaries from the field of Chemistry, along with representatives from various institutions, industry and students. Our Co-Chairman and MD, Prasad G V delivered the welcome speech at the event. CRSI represents more than 3,000 lifetime members who participate in the study, practice, teaching and promotion of Chemistry. The three-day event witnessed a heartening response with over 350 delegates from the field of Chemistry and 120 poster presentations.
