Games24x7 is an online gaming company headquartered in India with a portfolio that spans skill games. It was founded by New York University-trained economists Bhavin Pandya and Trivikraman Thampy in 2006. Backed by marquee investors including Tiger Global, The Raine Group, and Malabar Investment Advisors, the company specialises in using behavioural science, technology and artificial intelligence to provide an awesome game-playing experience across all its platforms. Games24x7 Ventures, the corporate investment arm of the company was launched in October 2022 to invest and support early stage startups. It’s an amazing feeling to celebrate 10 years at Games24x7! Many people have asked me, “What’s kept you here for so long?” I would love to share that every year, I have the wonderful opportunity to explore new things that help me grow my skills and knowledge. It brings me so much happiness each year! When I joined this company, I was confident that I knew a lot about my work. However, I soon realized that there was so much more to learn, including understanding the business and our users. Games24x7 has always been a wonderful place that encourages growth, helps you gain knowledge, and allows you to learn new things. There are so many great aspects of Games24x7, but I particularly love two things the most. 1. No matter your position, people are always eager to hear your thoughts, especially if you have some great ideas to share! 2. There isn’t a cabin for any leaders, so teams and colleagues can easily reach out to them. Whenever we have the chance to chat about business growth, it’s great to dive deeper into understanding user behaviors! Won a few Awards: 1. At work: 6 extra miles for my work 2. This National Girl Child Day, we celebrate the remarkable success of our initiative Wheels of Change we launched last year to help young girls in the Dharashiv district of Maharashtra by making their access to schools easier. To address the issue of dropouts from high schools due to distance, we stepped in with a simple yet effective solution — distributing bicycles to these girls. This initiative not only made their commute easier but also encouraged families to send their daughters to school.
