This National Girl Child Day, we celebrate the remarkable success of our initiative Wheels of Change we launched last year to help young girls in the Dharashiv district of Maharashtra by making their access to schools easier. To address the issue of dropouts from high schools due to distance, we stepped in with a simple yet effective solution — distributing bicycles to these girls. This initiative not only made their commute easier but also encouraged families to send their daughters to school. We spent quality time with the bright and enthusiastic children of Live Happy Goa. Using a variety of fun, play-based activities, we engaged with the children and talked to them about the importance of digital safety. We discussed practical steps they can take to protect their online security. We expanded the Wheels of Change initiative to empower youth through cricket. Enthusiasts from six NGOs and cricket academies joined us to experience the magic of the sport.
