Parenting is hard. Period. I'm not alone in this battle, I suppose. It's a challenge every parent faces today. But we worry about one thing more than anything else. Are our children are getting the right nutrition for their physical and mental development? As parents, we want the best for our kids, but how do we know what is best? Is it what's available or what is recommended by Medical professionals or what our parents gave us and told us is right? Whenever I speak to other parents, I hear "We will try our best to give our children a better life than we had. Usually that starts with better food & nutrition." But is that actually possible? The brands and products that were available to us are the same which are omnipresent today. They are the largest and more widely distributed and recommended ones. We conceptualized Our Little Joys 18 months back to solve for this. Giving ability to Parents like me who wanted "Better" for their children. Better Nutrition. Less Junk. Less Processed. Less Refined. Less Sugar. Unfortunately it comes at a price. Better cannot be as cheap as the market tells you. Over the past 12 months, we have tried to educate the market on reading the back of labels to understand differences between products and hence were very happy to see Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer) launch the #LabelPadhegaIndia Campaign a few weeks back. We proudly announce our participation in this campaign with our Brand Little Joys taking the first step and putting the Back of the Label in a Print Ad in Times of India today. No Marketing Message. Only Truth. As requested by Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer) Are we the best? Not yet. Can we improve? We surely can and will. But we are happy to be transparent and proud of what we do! We are Proud of what we make for India, from India and encourage more brands to do the same Let's march towards a healthier India! Our kids deserve better!

We went through over 100 iterations before we settled on the name Man Matters But why was this the one for us? Firstly, like with everything we do, the data: 72% men would rather mask their symptoms than seek help, which perpetuates a dangerous silence. Men have a 5 year shorter life expectancy than women. 80% of men face male pattern baldness by the time they're 40 and don't even try to treat it. Over 35% of men face sexual health issues that consequently affect their confidence and relationships. These are not small numbers. Yet, it seems society just told us being a man meant to not be vulnerable, just focus on being strong and don't cry. Somehow, we built a society where men looked confident on the outside and were sad on the inside. So when we decided to build a men's health platform, we wanted every man to look inside. We asked ourselves, can we provide a judgement free space, even before we provide solutions? Can we break every barrier a man faces to address his health concerns, thereby making him more confident? And can we provide tailored and holistic solutions? By creating a health platform with free doctor consultations, holistic health advice, coaches and doctors that are not incentivized to sell our products but instead incentivized to provide the best help for our users, we are on the path to creating a place where important matters of men can be addressed. I have been sharing (and will be sharing more) success stories of men we have been able to help, but i also wanted to talk a little bit about the what, the why and the who of Man Matters. Hopefully, we can create a future where men's needs are celebrated (not judged) and given the attention it requires. It's only possible because of all the folks passionately wanting to make it better for others. Did you know that over 90% of men grapple with hair fall, yet less than 15% find a successful solution? The gap between the problem and its resolution is vast. One major hurdle? The first step. Men are well researched about the problem but are quite confused on the action to the problem. Here's a revealing fact: 70% of men experiencing hair fall have never consulted an expert – a dermatologist or trichologist. Hair loss leads to a lot of stress and anxiety, yet our approach remains too casual. We tend to trust our gut over a doctor and consult Google rather than an expert. Self-diagnosis and self-medication become the norm, further adding to the problem. At Man Matters, since Day 0, we've aimed to change this narrative by providing free access to quality experts. Meet Muzamil Basu, a 33-year-old Fitness and Wellness Consultant in Pune. Despite flaunting amazing hairstyles earlier, Muzamil's move to Pune revealed challenges with hard water. He saw an increase in hair fall and a decline in hair health. His initial responses – Google searches and hairstylist suggestions – fell short. When he came to our platform, we convinced Muzamil to consult with our experts, emphasising that merely ordering products won't be enough. He understood his root cause of hair fall, got the treatment for himself and then stuck to the routine for 6 months. He kept checking in with our doctors, and that's when the magic happened! Muzamil's golden advice: "Don't be your own doctor." Wise words that resonate with our mission at Man Matters. Good going Muzamil! #ManMattersChampions #Inspiration #CustomerStories #customerjourney

Your products don’t work!! - 1 star review “Arrggggh” This is how we feel every time we receive a user review stating they haven't seen results in one month. One of the biggest challenges we face on a day-to-day basis is effectively managing customer expectations. In this dopamine era, how do we convince thousands of users each month that they need to be patient for a few months to see results? We tried a lot of things and a few worked. What tells me it's working? Apart from the numbers that we track, it's stories like that of Saurabh Vishwakarma that make me believe we are heading in the right direction. Saurabh remained patient and put his trust in us for a journey spanning over a year to see great results and regain his confidence. While I do believe there's a long way to go, I take some pleasure in knowing we are positively influencing the lives of people like Saurabh. Hair loss is complex, and solving it is not easy. However, I can confidently tell you, based on the thousands of stories we have seen, that it can be solved if you do the right things and do them patiently. The challenge lies in making every single consumer understand that and managing their expectations. To find out the top three things we did to manage customer expectations, stay tuned. Thanks Rohit Ganapathi to remind me of this and phrase it in a much better way :) Man Matters Mosaic Wellness #ManMattersChampions #Inspiration #CustomerStories

80% of consumers do their research before buying products, but only 40% of marketers research their customers before selling. What a BIG disconnect! 🤯 Since Day 1 of Man Matters, Revant Bhate has instilled the meaning and importance of being a consumer-first platform. In 4 years, I have spoken with close to a thousand customers personally. I am a strong believer in connecting with our customers - I do it to find insights and answers to questions that were puzzling me from looking at just data and numbers. But the most valuable thing I often take away is the inspiration from them, fueling my drive even more to further our mission - to help men live confidently. Today, I am sharing the story of Rakesh Lokhande. He is a 28-year-old Design Engineer, the sole bread earner of his family of 5, with dreams to make it big in his career. Despite facing health and wellness challenges a few years back, he never got bogged down by them, and nor did he decide to just live with it. He took charge and transformed his health and his lifestyle. “It was no longer a distraction, and I could confidently focus on my life and career,” were his words during our conversation. Being on his own health and wellness journey, Rakesh has inspired me not only to take better charge of myself but also to empower millions of other men - making him my champion. Have you been moved and inspired by your champions lately? #ManMattersChampions #Inspiration #CustomerStories

Excited to announce the launch of "Tiffin Break" by Little Joys a podcast for parents !

As a parent to an 8 year old, I have always struggled to understand the journey, constantly questioning myself on my performance as a "Dad". On speaking to other parents, I realized this is a common anxiety across. Anxiety around how much the world has changed and no amount of learning over the last 50 years would prepare us to being a parent in this decade. Parenting may be defined as promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cognitive development of a child from infancy to adulthood but no book or show can prepare you for it as every child is unique, brought up in an unique environment, raised by unique parent(s). For Parents, By Parents, proud to announce the launch of "Tiffin Break". A podcast, where parents have honest conversations around their childhood, their mental struggles and models in the attempt to be the best parent possible to today's young ones. 3 Episodes out, and a new one every Tuesday at 11 AM. If you are a parent, please do tune in https://lnkd.in/dJSc2WRM
