“The importance of timely nutritional assessment in oncology is often underestimated by both patients and clinicians, with only one in three cancer patients in Europe receiving nutritional support during treatments”. 👉🏻 Considerando che la malnutrizione è estremamente frequente nei pazienti oncologici, compromettendo risposta alle terapie, qualità di vita e sopravvivenza. È tempo che la nutrizione diventi parte integrante del percorso oncologico, non un aspetto secondario. 🫱🏻🫲🏼 È fondamentale che i professionisti sanitari integrino lo screening nutrizionale nella pratica clinica, riconoscendo che un adeguato supporto nutrizionale non è un'opzione ma una necessità terapeutica. 🔬 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗜𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 PARP inhibitors have transformed the treatment of ovarian cancer, especially for patients with BRCA1/2 mutations.
