During my visit to Abuja, Nigeria, I had the great pleasure of meeting in person with an emerging designer I am mentoring under the HCDExchange mentorship program. This program is one way we ensure we're not only advocating for localization efforts when solving public health challenges but also building the capacity to solve them in different African and Asian regions. Being an HCD/DT professional in Africa and Asia comes with its challenges.
