Leveraging the Markiti platform, Keep IT Cool has partnered with over 2,000 urban retailers to ensure the timely purchase of produce sourced from farmers and fisherfolk. These partnerships guarantee farmers with consistent offtake and access to a reliable market.  Additionally, over 300 of these retailers have been supported with our solar-powered freezers, enabling them to keep their products fresh, minimize food waste, and lower energy costs. #ReduceFoodWaste #CAaS #KeepITCool

It’s been an inspiring week connecting with fellow members of the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund (BFF) cohort, hosted by Agnes Gathaiya, Google East Africa’s Managing Director, and Folarin Oreoluwa Aiyegbusi, Head of Startup Ecosystem. To date, Google has invested $9M in African startups through the Black Founders Fund and is now extending an additional $5.9M to support AI integration. Collectively, Google-funded african-owned startups, including Keep IT Cool | Earthshot Prize Winner 24, have raised over $262M and created more than 4,000 jobs. Eng.
